<empty>The Rat Patrol DVDSet in North Africa during World War II, this series chronicles the adventures of a 4-man team of commandos within the Long Range Desert Group. (In utter defiance of historical accuracy, the team consists of three Americans and one Brit.) Armed with jeeps equipped with .50-caliber machine guns--and endless chutzpah--they wage a highly irregular war against Rommel's Afrika Korps. Their most common nemesis is Hauptmann Dietrich, though Dietrich and the Rats join forces from time to time against a common enemy.

Dinosaurs DVDThe show was conceived by the Muppet masters at Jim Henson Productions, who wanted to do a sitcom-style show with puppets using the animatronics processes the company had developed. The brain trust settled on the idea of doing a straightforward show about a family that happened to be composed of dinosaurs. Henson Productions offshoot The Creature Shop developed huge, lifelike puppets that could be operated from inside by puppeteers, and Brian Henson, Jim's son, devised a process called ‘audio animatronics' to bring the facial expressions of these puppets to life.

The shows premise mixed elements of The Flintstones and The Simpsons, focusing on a blue-collar family of dinosaurs. Earl, the father, worked for the Wesayso Corporation and leveled trees to make way for tract homes. His blustery qualities were balanced out by his even-tempered wife Fran. The Dino clan had three children: rebellious teen Robbie, shopaholic preteen Charlene, and Baby, a smart-alecky infant. Rounding out the family was Grandma Ethyl, who always seemed to be locked in a battle of wills with Earl. Other characters included B. P. Richfield, Earl's fearsome boss, and Roy Hess, a prehistoric swinger buddy of Earl's.

I Dream Of Jeannie DVDAstronaut Captain Tony Nelson is on a space flight when his one-man capsule comes down far from the planned recovery area, near a deserted island. Tony notices a strange bottle that rolls by itself, and when he rubs it after removing the cork, smoke starts shooting out and Jeannie materializes. "I must have gone further into orbit than I thought!" he says. Eventually, Jeannie (a homonym of "genie") , who was locked up in her bottle 2,000 years prior by the Blue Djinn, "blinks" a recovery helicopter into the area to rescue Tony, who is so grateful for her help that he tells her she's free. But Jeannie, who falls in love with Tony at first sight, reenters her bottle and moves it into Tony's duffel bag so she can accompany him back home.

Tony at first keeps Jeannie in her bottle most of the time, but finally relents and allows her to develop a life of her own. The first thing Jeannie does is break up Tony's engagement to the general's daughter.

Tony's efforts to cover up Jeannie's antics brings him to the attention of NASA's resident psychiatrist Dr. Alfred Bellows. Dr. Bellows tries over and over to prove to his superiors that Tony's either crazy or hiding something, but somehow or other he's always foiled and Tony's job remains secure.

Tony's best friend and fellow astronaut Army Capt. Roger Healey doesn't know about Jeannie for several episodes – when he finds out, he steals her so he can become rich and live in luxury. It's not long though before Tony reclaims his status as Jeannie's master. Roger continues to demonstrate his desire to use Jeannie's powers for his own benefit, but for the most part he respects Tony's status as Jeannie's master. Both Tony and Roger are promoted to the rank of major early in the series.

The Phil Silvers Show on DVDThe Phil Silvers Show is a half-hour comedy series, first ran on CBS from September 1955 to September 1959. The show's original title was You'll Never Get Rich, but this name was dropped shortly after its debut. Since its inception the series has also been commonly referred to as "Sergeant Bilko."

The program's 138 episodes trace the minor victories and misfortunes of the scheming, fast-talking Master Sergeant Ernie Bilko (Phil Silvers), head of the motor pool at the mythical U.S. army station of Fort Baxter in Roseville, Kansas. In his relentless pursuit of personal gain and physical comfort, Bilko attempts to manipulate those around him through the selective use of flattery, false naïveté, pulling rank, and a canny ability to identify and stimulate desires, weaknesses and emotions in others. Although his reputation for masterful chicanery is well known around the base, the other characters in the show prove no match for Bilko's complex mental designs and are ultimately unable to avoid following the course of action he desires. In his attempts to buck the system, Bilko is aided by his platoon-members: a motley collection of blue collar, "ethnic" Americans whose own distaste for military discipline is displayed through their visible admiration for their brilliant leader.

Aside from money and favors won in poker games and elaborate rackets, however, Bilko never benefits at the expense of others. Faced with innocent victims, the Sergeant's conscience kicks in and he expends every mental resource to resolve the problem. Bilko's one redeeming moral quality, therefore, is his heart of gold, which prevents him both from truly prospering or losing his humanity.

Savannah was a short-lived TV series. It was a night-time soap opera that took place in the city of Savannah, Georgia. The show revolved around three female friends, Reese, Lane, and Peyton. It followed them though the good times and the bad.

Lane McKenzie left Savannah after graduating for college to become a big journalist in New York. She returned for her best friend's, Reese Burton, wedding to Travis Peterson. Lane finds out that her apartment in New York is robbed and she tries to collect on an inheritance only to find out that Travis stole every last penny of it. Peyton, daughter of the Burton mansion maid, had an affair with Travis. Reese finds out that Travis was having an affair with a "Bunny" and is devastated. Travis has wound up dead. And through it all, they remain friends.

The show was very popular at first, but after it was moved opposite Monday Night Football, it fell in the ratings and was canceled. Reese was played by blonde daytime soap actress Shannon Sturges; Lane was played by brunette Robyn Lively; and Peyton was played by redhead Jamie Luner, who became very famous from this role as the slutty, troubled bad girl. It also starred a pre-CSI George Eads. Though Eads' character, Travis, died in the pilot episode, the show's producers recognized Eads' appeal and brought him back as Nick, identical twin brother of Travis.

Early Edition DVD
Early Edition was a television series on CBS that ran from September 28, 1996 to May 27, 2000. It followed the adventures of a man who attempts to prevent terrible events each day, which he learns about by receiving each day's newspaper a day early.

Gary Hobson was a regular Chicago stockbroker. One day his wife dumped him and he was forced to move into a hotel room. The next morning, at 6:30 am, a mysterious yellow cat showed up at his front door with tomorrow's edition of the Chicago Sun-Times. From that day on his life was never the same. At first skeptical, Gary started to try saving people's lives and stop disasters from happening. With the help of his friends Chuck and Marissa, Gary became a man with a mission, even though he doesn't know why or how the paper gets to him every morning.

Within the course of the series, Gary discovers that a few people share his gift of receiving the newspaper "early". The only people, besides Gary, who know about his gift are his parents; his friends Chuck Fishman (a former fellow stock broker) and Marissa Clark (the blind former receptionist at the brokerage); and, Erica and Henry Paget, a single mother and her son (Gary gives Erica a job at McGinty's) though he certainly tried to tell a few people such as his attorney and various police officers (Episode 407/408 - Fatal Edition). On some occasions, he is given the ability to wake up in another time (such as in the early 1900s) to change the past. People who encounter Gary often strongly suspect (or know) that he has a secret, but do not know what specifically it is.

The Tick DVDThe Tick is the name of a blue-skinned muscular superhero who fights crime in a city simply called "The City". He is an absurdist spoof of the superhero genre, originally found in an independent comic book series started in 1988 by cartoonist Ben Edlund, subsequently gaining popularity through a 1994 animated television series on the Fox Network. A video game and a short-lived live-action television series have also been based on the character.

A square-jawed, muscular, bright blue figure with antennae sticking up from his head, the Tick is a surreal parody of superheroes. The Tick is high-spirited, frequently obtuse, and prone to quipping odd, dim remarks and "inspirational" speeches filled with bizarre metaphors. His superpowers are nigh-invulnerability, which allows him to crash and bang about without injury (though not neccessairly without pain); super strength (he can bend a steel girder with ease); and something referred to as "drama power", or basically a tendency for the Tick's powers to increase as the situation becomes more dramatic. He can also survive out in space without a suit and underwater without oxygen. Despite his nigh-invulnerability, in the animated series, the Tick is portrayed as being vulnerable to blows to the head, which often cause temporary brain damage. He is known for his nonsensical battle cry, "Spoooooon!", which he decided upon one day while eating breakfast (specifically the cereal "Drama Flakes").

Lovejoy on DVD

Lovejoy is a series of picaresque novels by John Grant (under the pen name Jonathan Gash) about the adventures of Lovejoy, a British antiques dealer based in East Anglia whose scruples are not always the highest. He does however have a reputation in the antiques trade as a "divvie" (derived from "diviner"), meaning one with an almost supernatural talent for recognising exceptional items as well as for distinguishing fakes or forgeries from genuine antiques. Intriguingly, Lovejoy's first name is never mentioned in the books. In the TV series he insists on being addressed by all solely as "Lovejoy".

To summarize, Lovejoy is a colourful East Anglian antique dealer who lives a somewhat hand-to-mouth life, despite being called a divvie - a man who knows in his bones the right and wrong of fine things. The Lovejoy Antiques team includes Tinker Dill, Lovejoy's barker, Eric Catchpole, his apprentice (the son of the local butcher), and Jane Felsham, the supportive lady of a local grandee. In the fifth and sixth series Lovejoy develops a special relationship with the elegant Charlotte Cavendish, who heads an auction house. Lovejoy's business rival Charlie Gimbert is both his landlord and a competitor for good buys of all kinds. Beth Taylor joins Lovejoy's team on a youth employment scheme in the middle of the fifth series.

NewsRadio on DVD

NewsRadio was an American sitcom, originally broadcast from 1995 to 1999 on NBC. The show was created by executive producer Paul Simms.

The series is set at WNYX, a fictional news radio station in New York City populated by an eccentric station owner and staff. The show began with the arrival of new news director, level-headed Dave Nelson (Dave Foley), fresh from the heartland of Wisconsin. While Dave turns out to be less naive than his youthful appearance suggests, he never fully gained control of his co-workers.The fast-paced, irreverent scripts and ensemble cast combined physical humor and sight gags with smart dialogue and absurdist storylines.

Plots frequently involved satirical takes on historical events, news stories and pop culture references appealed to a sophisticated, college-educated target audience. The third- and fourth-season finales took the absurdism to the extreme, setting the characters first in a news radio station in outer space, and then as crew members aboard the Titanic.

Thunder cats on DVD

ThunderCats was an American animated television series developed and produced by Rankin/Bass Productions, debuting in 1983 based on the characters created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf. The animation was provided by Pacific Animation Corporation, the working name for a collective of Japanese studios prominently including Topcraft, a group who would later go on to form Studio Ghibli. Season 1 of the show aired in 1985 (65 episodes), followed by a TV movie entitled ThunderCats - HO! in 1986. Seasons 2, 3, and 4 followed a new format of twenty episodes each, starting with a five-part story; these aired from 1987 to 1988, 1988 to 1989, and 1989 to 1990, respectively.

Set against a backdrop juxtaposing science-fiction and fantasy elements, the ThunderCats series tells a good-versus-evil tale of mythic proportions, featuring an equal mix of high-technology and magic, hand-to-hand combat, and a central core of championed values. Its anthropomorphic heroes, the ThunderCats, are pitted against a rag-tag assortment of villains and a demonic wizard named Mumm-Ra on a planet known as Third Earth.

The story begins with the destruction of the ThunderCats original home, the distant planet of Thundera. Forced to flee from the dying world, The ThunderCats and their fellow Thunderians board a fleet of starships to escape just as the planet blew itself apart. Aboard the fleet’s flagship, a team of several ThunderCat nobles are gathered to escort and protect the sole heir to the ThunderCats’ leadership: the young Lion-O, a boy of twelve years. They also hope to safeguard the Eye of Thundera, the source of the ThunderCats' power, embedded in the hilt of the mystic Sword of Omens. Among these nobles is the mystical warrior and sage known as Jaga the Wise. Together, he and the nobles lead the fleet away from the dying planet in a mass exodus, hoping to find a safe haven.

The flagship crashes on the new planet called Third Earth. The fractured vessel spills its contents across the landscape, but fortunately, the ThunderCats survive. Lion-O and his nursemaid Snarf are the first to emerge from their suspension capsules, and realize that Lion-O has aged somewhat while in suspension. They are shortly confronted by the Mutants, who have been searching for the ship all this time and demand the Eye of Thundera. Lion-O uses the Sword to awaken the other ThunderCats, routing the villains and driving them back in their spaceship.

In later episodes, Mumm-Ra magically reconstructs the planet Thundera in order to gain the Sword of Plun-Darr (once held by Rattila of Plun-Darr) which was the original cause of Thundera’s demise. He also works to locate the Treasure of Thundera, which harbors the ThunderCats' secrets. In these episodes, the ThunderCats' adventures alternate between New Thundera and Third Earth.

Courage the Cowardly Dog

Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated television series about a dog named Courage and his owners Muriel Bagge, a kindly old Scottish woman, and Eustace Bagge, a grumpy old farmer, living together in a farmhouse in the middle of the town of Nowhere, Kansas (often described as The Middle of Nowhere).

To summarize, Courage was an abandoned dog and was found by his owner Muriel who lives in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas with her husband Eustace Bagge. Eustace is a failed farmer who farms no more. His most prized object is his old truck. He is usually watching his old black and white televison and is always asking for his meal. He is crazy about his red chair. Muriel loves to sit in her rocking chair watch her favorite show (not mentioned what it's called), cook, play her sitar, and enjoy talking with Courage. Eustace, on the other hand, dislikes Courage. He scares him with a mask. Courage is a dog almost afraid of everything and with the help of his computer he battles the villians and saves himself and his owners. They don't have any neighbors that live next door. Katz is the most common villian that is seen on the show, he thinks up wise traps to lure people into their doom. The bickering of Eustace, the old customs of Muriel, the action of the villians, and the humor of Courage make it a great show!

Courage the Cowardly Dog revolves around the exploits of Courage, a small fuchsia dog who, despite his name, is afraid of the most mundane things. However, his fear is usually warranted: Eustace, Muriel, and Courage are constantly attacked by or run into various monsters, aliens, curses, natural disasters, and other forms of peril Courage must face.
